Bravida strengthens its position within heating and plumbing in the growing Kiruna region

Pounus rör was founded in 2012 and has operations in Kiruna with surrounding areas. The company has 18 employees and a turnover of approximately SEK 30 million.

– We see region Malmfälten as a very interesting market with its mining industry and the on-going move of Kiruna city. Today, Bravida operates within electricity, ventilation, heating and plumbing in the region. With the acquisition of Pounus rör, we will strengthen our business and can thereby meet the demand from the customers in a even better way. Pounus rör is a well-managed company with competent employees who complement our current business in a good way, says Tage Lundin, Regional Manager, Bravida region Malmfälten.

Sellers are Ingemar and Stefan Pounu. Ingemar will continue with Bravida after the acquisition and he will have a leading role in the management team of the heating and plumbing branch in Kiruna.

Pounus rör will be a part of Bravida as of 1 September 2017 and the business will be integrated with Bravida's operation as soon as possible.
