Bravida wins major hospital contracts in Sweden, Norway and Denmark

Bravida has been contracted to carry out several major installations in connection with the building of Sweden’s largest hospital, Nya Karolinska Solna, one of Norway’s largest hospitals in Sarpsborg and Denmark’s largest hospital, Aarhus University Hospital.

Nya Karolinska Solna is northern Europe’s largest hospital project, comprising
320,000 m2. When completed in 2016, the hospital will be one of the first university hospitals in the world to be environmentally certified under the LEED and other certification systems. Bravida has won the contract for the HVAC installations, worth SEK 182 million.

In Sarpsborg, Østfold in Norway a new central hospital is being built that will replace many of today’s local hospitals. Upon completion in 2016, the 82,500 m2 hospital will be one of the largest and most modern in the country. Bravida will carry out all electrical installations under a contract worth NOK 300 million.

The largest hospital contract to date in Denmark is the new university hospital in Aarhus. The initial stage covers a 30,000 m2 large hospital building where Bravida will be carrying out installations with a total order value of DKK 112 million.
