Bravida Denmark wins large multi-technical contract in Odense

Bravida Denmark is commissioned by the Danish Road Directorate to carry out a complete delivery of all technical installations in a new faculty building for health sciences, which will be built at the new University Hospital in Odense. The assignment has an order value of 296 mDKK.

Currently, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) has four faculties on its main campus in Odense. The new building, called SDU SUND, will be placed in direct connection with the new University Hospital in Odense. The purpose is to strengthen the collaboration between the university and the hospital, and to contribute to pioneering research in the health sciences.

The building will contain laboratories, offices and teaching rooms, as well as animal sheds and premises for forensic medicine. Bravida will carry out all technical installations: heating and plumbing, HVAC, electricity, sprinklers, fire alarm system and building automation. The client is the Danish Road Directorate, which handles government building projects in Denmark.

Project preparations will begin in 2019, while the execution phase is expected to start in early 2021. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2022. About 20 officials and 60 fitters from Bravida will be involved in the project.
