Bravida acquires Reglerteknik i Norr AB and strengthens its position in automation in northern Sweden

Bravida is acquiring the company Reglerteknik i Norr AB and will thereby strengthen its position in automation in northern Sweden. The company has sales of around SEK 13.5 million and eight employees.

Press release

The company was founded in 1988, with current CEO Glenn Sundqvist as the second employee of the company. He took over the company in 2003. The company currently operates within automation in Piteå and has a solid local presence, with customers in both municipal industrial properties and private properties.

“Reglerteknik i Norr complements our existing automation business in Luleå and thus broadens our customer offering in Piteå and the surrounding area, where we can offer our customers a wider range of services in conjunction with our existing electricity business. We’re pleased that the deal has been finalised and that we can now continue to develop our automation business together,” comments Olle Näsvall, Regional Manager of Bravida in Region Norra Norrland.

Glenn Sundqvist, currently CEO of Reglerteknik i Norr, will continue to be part of the business and his role will be the same as before. He commented:

“The acquisition feels like a good solution for the future of the company, with stability and security. It gives us the opportunity to continue to expand as a company under the Bravida umbrella. It feels great to now be a part of Bravida.”

Bravida will take over as the new owner on 1 October 2021.
