Bravida Denmark has been awarded a contract to install new LED luminaires as part of Aarhus Municipality’s extensive renovation of its existing street lighting.

Press release

There will be a focus on sustainability when Bravida installs and replaces a large part of the lighting system, using thousands of new energy-efficient LED luminaires.

The project is part of Aarhus Municipality’s new lighting strategy, which aims to improve safety as a result of improved lighting, provide energy savings and reduce the municipality’s  emissions.

That Bravida now has the opportunity to install a more energy-efficient solution with an associated reduction in CO2 -emissions for our customers is also completely in line with our business strategy. Ole Høgh, Regional Infrastructure Manager, Bravida comments:

“We are very pleased that Bravida has been awarded the contract to replace the existing luminaires with an LED solution in Aarhus Municipality. We have over 30 years of experience in street lighting projects and constantly strive to help our customers implement sustainable solutions that reduce
CO2 -emissions and have a positive environmental impact.”

The work will begin in March 2021 and is expected to be completed within two years. The project will be included in the incoming orders for the first quarter of 2021.
