Bravida Norway acquires Plato AS and strengthens its position in HVAC in Sunnmøre

Bravida acquires 100% of the shares in the HVAC company Plato AS in Sykkylven, which will be integrated in Bravida Norge AS. Plato AS has a turnover of approximately NOK 35 million and around 21 employees.

Press release

Plato AS was founded in 1987 and is a HVAC contractor based in Sykkylven. The company’s main area of activity is installation and service work relating to HVAC systems, including heat pumps and plumbing. Its customers are mainly private companies, but also include consumers and public companies.

“We are very pleased to complete this acquisition. It will help us at Bravida to grow and achieve our goal of becoming a leading supplier, including in HVAC services,” comments Tore Bakke, CEO of Bravida Norway.

“This acquisition strengthens our range of HVAC services in central Norway. It means that Bravida covers the three main technology areas and can thus offer combined total solutions to our customers in the same geographical area,” comments Petter Storhaug, Regional Director for Region Midt at Bravida Norway.

Bravida already provides services relating to both electricity and pipes in Ålesund. The acquisition of Plato will create a new branch at Bravida, which will continue to focus on the HVAC market in Møre and Romsdal.

“It has been an exciting journey so far, and I am looking forward to the continuation of it and our further development as part of Bravida,” comments the current owner and founder of Plato AS, Odd Arne Rønes.

Bravida will become the owner on 1 November 2021.
