Bravida strengthens its position in ventilation in Malmö – acquires IEAB installationsentreprenören AB

Bravida acquires IEAB, thus giving it a stronger position in the ventilation segment in Malmö. IEAB currently has sales of around SEK 75 million and 23 employees.

Press release

Founded in 2013, IEAB specialises in energy-efficient and cost-effective ventilation solutions in technologically complicated projects. Its major customers are mainly construction companies, but work is also done directly for end customers as well.

“IEAB is an exciting and very well-run company which we are very pleased to welcome to Bravida. The acquisition will strengthen our position in ventilation in the region and we believe there are many future opportunities in this area,” comments Mattias Norlander, Regional Manager at Bravida for the Malmö region.

Hamid Karimi owns the company, along with Alen Idrizi, and they will both also join Bravida. Hamid will become the Branch Manager, and is pleased about the sale:

“Bravida was the obvious choice when we were looking at potential opportunities to grow, keep evolving and take on more complex projects. Thanks to our dedicated staff and good customers, IEAB has developed fantastically since being founded nine years ago. And we are now looking forward to continuing this journey of development together with Bravida.”

IEAB is currently based in Valdermasro in north-east Malmö, and the department will initially continue to operate in its existing premises. Bravida will take over as the new owner on 3 May 2021.
