Bravida adds security at Skänninge and Sagsjön Prisons

Skänninge Prison is classed as a security level 2 facility and currently has space for 240 inmates. A further 96 new places and two new residential buildings will now be added. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is also building a new women’s prison classed as security levels 2 and 3, with approximately 80 places, on the existing Sagsjön prison grounds.

The contracts include the supply and installation of the Integra security system. This includes the installation of alarm and access control systems, CCTV systems, intercom systems, fire alarms, portable attack alarms, UPS power, multi-function networks and perimeter protection.

Bravida’s assignments have already started at both prisons and are scheduled to last for about two years.
