Bravida Denmark signs a new framework agreement with Energinet for substation maintenance, with an order value of approximately DKK 200 million

Bravida Denmark has signed a new framework agreement with Energinet for the maintenance of Energinet’s substation, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and cable facilities.

Press release

The contracts with Energinet cover maintenance inspections, as well as preventive and remedial maintenance work, at Energinet’s substations. The new framework agreement applies to North and East Jutland, South Jutland, Funen, North-West and South Zealand and Lolland-Falster.

“We are very happy to have got back the contract covering areas for which we were previously responsible, and we are looking forward to starting the new sub-agreement for South Jutland and Funen. Our infrastructure departments work in a goal-oriented way to get more operation and maintenance contracts for properties,” comments Ole Høgh, Regional Manager for the Infrastructure Region at Bravida Denmark.

Martin Werner Thomsen, Project Manager at Energinet Asset Optimisation, comments:

“It is important for the electricity supply in Denmark that Energinet’s high-voltage substations and other electrical facilities undergo regular maintenance. We are therefore very pleased to have signed agreements for a large part of our installations for the next five years. It is important for Energinet to ensure that the cooperation with our new suppliers is done with a sustainable approach, so that we also continuously move in a more sustainable direction in the area of maintenance.”

The framework agreement will primarily be handled by Bravida Denmark’s nationwide infrastructure departments. Bravida Fire & Security, sprinkler, cooling and ventilation will be involved in specific inspections. The framework agreement will run for five years from January 2023.
