Bravida wins framework agreement worth 400 MDKK for leading energy company in Denmark

Bravida Denmark today signed a six-year contract with one of Denmark’s biggest energy companies, NRGi. This major contract with Bravida will secure for NRGi a range of large-scale production benefits and enhanced efficiency in connection with servicing and the execution of the energy company’s overall energy supply tasks.

Press release

Following an extensive EU invitation to tender, Bravida was selected to handle all of NRGi’s electricity supply tasks over the next six years. The major contract has an estimated value of DKK 400 million.

- Bravida was selected because they were able to provide the best solutions for reducing NRGi’s costs and investments. At the same time, we placed emphasis on the fact that Bravida’s tender met the invitation to tender’s requirements of new innovative efficiency solutions, says NRGi’s Managing Director, Søren Sørensen.

The invitation is the result of intensified requirements governing the energy companies by which they are required to put out all energy supply assignments to tender.

- With this contract, we are reinforcing our strong position on the energy supply market where we are already working for DONG Energy, Energinet DK, SEAS-NVE and Energi Fyn, among others, says Søren Frahm, Director of Infrastructure at Bravida Denmark.

Bravida Denmark are now in the process of structuring a special organisation, with bases in Aarhus and Horsens, that will be undertaking servicing and execution of all NRGi’s electricity supply tasks, including the servicing of existing installations and the establishment of new ones. In all, Bravida expect to recruit 20 new employees as well as establish cooperation with a range of sub-contractors as a consequence of this major contract. Bravida will begin the work in September 2014.
