Suppliers

As a leading company in our sector, we place significant requirements on both ourselves and our suppliers. Together we can and want to encourage the entire supply chain to take responsibility for people, the environment and communities.

Equally high expectations of our suppliers as of ourselves

Our customers and society are placing increasing requirements on technical solutions that minimise our environmental footprint. One of our aims is to be a leading supplier of energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable services. By working with both our suppliers and customers, we endeavour to find new products and solutions for the future. We also place stringent requirements on both ourselves and our suppliers with regard to issues concerning safety, environmental impact and human rights, quality assurance and business ethics.

Code of conduct

It’s important to us that all our suppliers understand and support both our code of conduct and our values. This applies to suppliers of materials, services and subcontractors.

Purchasing and suppliers at Bravida

Our sector has a wide range of suppliers, materials and components. There’s a lot to be gained through smart purchasing. That’s why we have a cohesive purchasing process and a group-wide purchasing system.

Bravida’s central Nordic purchasing department plays a key role in our purchasing process. It negotiates with our suppliers and signs framework agreements in the areas of electrical, heating and plumbing and ventilation/cooling, as well as indirect supplies such as vehicles.

For service suppliers, we work both centrally and locally, depending of the type of service needed. Procurement of subcontractors usually takes place at local level.

Purchasing of materials

In cooperation with its operating business, Bravida’s purchasing department has developed a standardised range of suppliers and products used by all our branches, known as the Bravida range.

The key criteria applied to this range are:

  • Functionality – the product’s technical function needs to meet requirements.
  • Quality assurance – this includes warranties, the risk of product deviations, how product quality can be assured at customers and the level of service from suppliers.
  • The environment - low environmental impact is prioritised and installation of the product must allow for a healthy work environment.
  • Price and installation – the price of the product and the cost of installation.

Becoming a supplier to Bravida

To become a supplier to Bravida, a company first needs to undergo a three-stage supplier assessment.

1

Bravida checks that your company meets Bravida’s basic legal and financial requirements.

2

We send a supplier survey asking for information and documentation substantiating your company’s work in:

Implementing and following up on Bravida’s code of conduct within the company and with your suppliers. Work environment, health and safety. Environment, business ethics and anti-corruption and quality.

3

Your company’s products or services are assessed based on points such as functionality, quality, the environment, price and installation.

If your company meets Bravida’s requirements, it is added to Bravida’s
purchasing system so that our branches can then order from you.
