The new emergency hospital in Hjelset will house a number of departments, including emergency care, surgery, intensive care and delivery. Bravida will supply all installations within electricity, heating and plumbing, and HVAC.

“A complex project like this requires access to the most capable suppliers in the industry. We are very pleased with the team we have in place. We look forward to having Bravida on board early in the project to help develop the most optimal solutions”, says Frode Berg, Project Director at Skanska.

The contract was signed on February 3 by Bravida and Skanska, who have already started the collaboration.

“For Bravida Norway, this is a very important project. In recent years, Bravida has built up significant hospital expertise, which we look forward to benefiting from through all phases of the project, says Tore Bakke, Head of Division Norway, Bravida.

Construction is scheduled to start in the autumn of 2020. At most, around 100 people from Bravida will be employed in the project.
