Bravida wins contract of around SEK 100 million in construction of new Coop automated goods terminal

The Eskilstuna terminal will have an area of 109,000 sqm, making it one of Europe’s largest fully automated food industry terminals. The project is a design-and-build contract and Bravida’s work comprises project design and installation.

All processes at the facility will operate 24/7 on a fully automated basis, requiring highly efficient technology. Bravida strives to install the most energy-efficient solutions to make the building sustainable in the long term. Effective coordination and detailed project management will play a key role.

I’m confident that, together with Tommy Allström Byggproduktion AB, we will deliver a great result that meets the customer’s requirements.

The project design stage has begun, involving approximately 20 employees from Bravida, and the order will be included in the order intake for Finland in the fourth quarter of 2020. The project will be completed by the second quarter of 2024 and Bravida’s work is expected to be concluded by the end of 2021.
