About Bravida's delivery
Bravida is delivering two installation contracts within the Stockholm Metro Expansion:
– General ventilation, plumbing and tunnel ventilation
– Electricity, telecommunications and access control.
The scope includes installations in all tunnels and at seven new stations along the Blue Line extension from Kungsträdgården towards Nacka and Söderort. The client is Region Stockholm – Administration for the Stockholm Metro Expansion.
From design to Maintenance
Design work began in early 2024, with production starting in 2026 and planned completion in 2029.
The project is led by Bravida’s PMO – Special Projects and delivered in close collaboration with Bravida’s installation departments and specialised subcontractors. Design is carried out in-house using 3D BIM, enabling efficient coordination, high quality and well-planned installation solutions.
Bravida is responsible for testing and verification prior to commissioning, as well as operation and maintenance throughout the installation phase and for two years after handover.
