Bravida strengthens its position in Oslo

Bravida has signed the agreement to acquire VVS Engineering AS. The acquired company has 35 employees and had a turnover of NOK 69 million during 2014. Through the acquisition, Bravida strengthens its position within heating & plumbing in the Oslo region

VVS Engineering AS was founded in 2008 and operates in Oslo and Hedmark where they, foremost, offer installations within heating, cooling and sprinkler.

– In October when we acquired Nord-Klima AS, we strengthened Bravida in Tromsø with 30 new employees. It is inspiring that we are now strengthening our operations in Oslo as well, by acquiring VVS Engineering AS. The Oslo region is a very important market to us. Bravida has offered electrical and heating & plumbing services in Olso before, but will now have much greater ability to meet customer demands for comprehensive technical services in both installations and service, says Tore Bakke, Division Manager Bravida Norway.

The biggest shareholder in the acquired company is Rolf Kåre Berget who, together with the other shareholders and employees, built and developed the business since it was founded in 2008.

– Bravida is a very competent new owner of VVS Engineering and will continue to drive the development of the organisation, which now becomes part of a more complete supplier of technical installations. I am confident that our customers and partners will get a better delivery after we become a part of Bravida, says Rolf Kåre Berget, current owner and CEO of VVS Enginering AS.

Bravida is acquiring all outstanding shares and will assume ownership as per 1 January 2016.
