Press release

Bravida’s goal is to be the industry leader in climate-friendly energy solutions, and this acquisition is the first for Bravida Denmark in the solar energy sector. Viva Energi was founded in 2009 and has consumers and companies among its customers. It is now one of Denmark’s most experienced full-service suppliers of photovoltaic systems.

“The acquisition of Viva Energi is fully in line with Bravida’s long-term sustainability strategy. By acquiring Viva Energi, we are expanding our range of sustainable products, which also includes Bravida Charge, our complete solution for charging electric cars and our GreenHub concept,” comments Johnny Hey, CEO of Bravida Denmark.

Lars Bjerg, one of the founders of Viva Energi, comments:

“We want to constantly evolve so that we can offer our customers the best possible solutions. Bravida has the same focus on innovation and growth that we do, and we now get access to greater resources and expanded market opportunities. There are numerous new synergies and possibilities that result from becoming part of Bravida. This is positive for Viva Energi, our employees and our customers.”

The shares will be transferred to Bravida Denmark on 2 January 2022. Bravida will initially acquire 60 percent of the shares, and a further 40 percent by 2025.
