Bravida Norway establishes itself in Finnmark and acquires electrical installation company AB Elektro AS

Bravida Norway acquires AB Elektro AS and thereby establishes itself in the electrical installation and aquaculture sectors in Finnmark in Northern Norway. The company has sales of NOK 68 million and 32 employees.

The acquisition gives Bravida access to a large new geographical area and will be the Group’s northernmost branch. AB Elektro was founded in 1997 and is currently based in Alta, with operations in Burjord, Troms and Finnmark. The company is a full service provider for electrical and technical installations and its customers include both public and private companies.

“This acquisition strengthens the range of services we can offer customers in Northern Norway, and we are delighted to become the Group’s northernmost branch. It will significantly increase our ability to deliver good projects and services in the area of electrical installation, and we will also gain a leading position as a supplier to the aquaculture industry. We are very pleased to now welcome AB Elektro AS part of Bravida, along with its excellence, innovation and talented employees,” comments Ronny Øvreviks, Head of Coastal (Kysten) Division at Bravida Norway. 

AB Elektro AS is currently 50 percent owned by CEO Harald År Farstad and 50 percent by Project Manager Daniel Åsheim, who will both continue the journey together with Bravida. Harald Ås Farstad comments:

“When we started thinking about selling our company, we quickly identified Bravida as the most desirable buyer. It has been an exciting journey to reach this point, and I look forward to our further development and continuation as part of Bravida.”

Bravida will become the owner on 1 February 2022.
