Bravida Denmark ensures provision of rail services, in cooperation with Banedanmark and DSB, for around DKK 300 million

Bravida Denmark has signed a five-year contract with Banedanmark and DSB for service and maintenance of the overhead line equipment (OLE) on the mainline railways throughout Denmark.

Press release

Bravida has been commissioned by Banedanmark, which is responsible for the railway infrastructure in Denmark, to carry out maintenance, service and ongoing inspections of overhead line equipment on the mainline railways across the entire country. The assignment also includes emergency response, which shall be available 24 hours a day, all year round.

“We are delighted to have been awarded this major contract by Banedanmark, which will help secure the provision of Denmark’s critical infrastructure. The contract builds on our previous collaboration, and means we are now also responsible for the correct functioning of the overhead line equipment. We are proud of the confidence Banedanmark has shown in us and look forward to continuing the good and strong cooperation,” comments Ole Høgh, Regional Manager for Region Infrastructure at Bravida Denmark.

Bravida’s assignment has started and the contract is valid for five years, and can also be extended for a further two years.
