Bravida carries out installations in two data centres for around SEK 200 million

Bravida and EcoDataCenter have signed an agreement for two data centre projects worth approximately SEK 100 million per facility. Bravida’s assignments include installations for electricity supply, power and lighting.

“The lack of data centres constitutes a bottleneck in the AI economy, and investments like these are crucial to being able to meet societies’ needs in terms of future capacity. Bravida is a contractor with the ability to keep pace with our high rate of establishment,” comments Peter Michelson, CEO of EcoDataCenter.

Bravida and EcoDataCenter have been working together since 2017, and their relationship is a long-term one.

“We can see strong potential in the data centre market. Over the past five years, we have carried out installation projects in ten data centres in Sweden, and Bravida is one of the few players with the capacity to take on projects of this size,” comments Lars Täuber, Head of Division Sweden at Bravida.

The installation work at the data centres in Borlänge is expected to be completed in mid-2027.
