Bravida has signed an agreement to acquire the company Indupipe AB and strengthen its position in pipe assembly

Indupipe AB was founded in 2008 and now specialises in project management and the holistic provision of pipe assembly services for industry applications. Its head office is in Gävle but the company’s customer base is spread throughout Sweden, in the power, paper and process industries. 

“Indupipe has excellent competence in the segment of holistic industrial pipe assembly services, which complements our current business activities well. Indupipe’s geographical coverage right across the country also fits well with Bravida’s strategy of being locally based while at the same time being a nationwide supplier to Swedish industry. Together, we can complement each other and strengthen our service portfolio for customers,” comments Marcus Birgersson, Regional Manager Stockholm VS at Bravida.

Christer Flodin, a current co-owner of Indupipe, will continue to work for the business after it becomes part of Bravida, as will the other three co-owners Petrus Jansson, Tony Ericsson och Sven-Erik Nordström. Christer comments:

The acquisition is subject to approval by the Swedish Competition Authority. Bravida will take over the business as soon as this approval has been granted, which is expected to be in July.
