Bravida Norway acquires Bautec AS and strengthens its position in automation in Bergen

Bravida Norway acquires the company Bautec AS and thereby strengthens its position in the field of automation in Bergen. The company has sales of NOK 17 million and 13 employees.

Bautec AS was founded in 2012 and specialises in building control and monitoring. It is based in Bergen and has large private and public sector clients. Bautec AS provides everything from small conversions to complete automation packages for large new buildings, and works with new installations and aftermarket services.

“The acquisition of Bautec AS means that Bravida can offer very good and solid solutions in building automation in the whole of Western Norway. It also significantly strengthens Bravida’s presence in the market. The company’s vision of sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings is in line with Bravida’s sustainability strategy, with the goal being to help our customers create well-functioning buildings in which people feel good and can live in a climate-smart way,” comments Ronny Øvrevik, Head of the Coastal (Kysten) Division at Bravida Norway. 

Tore André Haugen, the current co-owner and CEO of Bautec AS, comments:

“We are looking forward to becoming part of Bravida and continuing to further develop the field of building automation. It will be an exciting journey during which we will both grow and can together create sustainable solutions for the entire property lifecycle.”  

Bravida will take over as the new owner on 1 June 2022.
