Bravida Norway is providing all the technical installations for a new school with 13,500 square metres of floor space being built by Peab Bjørn Bygg. The new school in Troms and Finnmark county will have over 1,000 pupils and approximately 250 employees.

Press release

Bravida’s tasks include the provision of electricity, ventilation, automation and plumbing solutions, for the renovation of existing buildings and for new construction. Previously, the upper secondary school and vocational school were located in two different places, in Breivika and Rambergan. The new facilities currently being built will bring all the pupils together in one place.

“This is an important project for Bravida in Tromsø. With our help, the pupils and staff will have a building with energy-efficient solutions that ensure a good working environment. The planning and choice of solutions being implemented by Bravida also comply with the sustainability requirements specified by the county council in Troms and Finnmark,” comments Torfinn Rolandsen, Regional Manager Region Nord, Bravida Norway.

Bravida, along with the main contractor Peab Bjørn Bygg, the project developer and the client, carried out a collaborative phase to plan and secure the best possible basis for the project.

The project started in June 2022 and is expected to be completed in May 2023.
