Bravida grows in industrial piping in central Sweden

Bäckmans Rör AB was founded in 1978 and provides service and installation relating to industrial piping. The business is based in Karlskoga and mainly operates in central Sweden, but carries out assignments throughout the country. Its customer base consists of companies in the pharmaceutical industry and water utilities. 

“I am very pleased to welcome Bäckmans Rör to Bravida. The acquisition is completely in line with Bravida’s strategy and gives us the opportunity to really establish ourselves throughout the region. The company has a strong relationship with the pharmaceutical industry in Karlskoga, which strengthens our overall offering to customers,” comments Johan Holmberg, Regional Manager for the Närke, Östergötland and Gotland Region at Bravida. 

Robert Bäckman, CEO of Bäckmans Rör AB, will stay with the business. He comments:

“Bravida is a good and serious employer that wants to expand in the industrial sector. It feels great that, together with Bravida, we will now be able to take on larger projects and increase the level of service we offer our customers and partners.” 

Bravida will take over as the new owner today on 1 June 2023.
