Bravida increases energy efficiency at Huddinge Hospital with an order value of SEK 142 million
Bravida has been awarded a project by Locum to install ventilation, heating, electrical, automation and sprinkler systems in part of Huddinge Hospital. The technical upgrade will enable benefits such as an improved indoor climate for healthcare activities and reduced energy usage to be achieved.
Press release
Bravida is carrying out the installations in the C2 building at Huddinge Hospital, which contains laboratory and specialised facilities utilised by the entire Region Stockholm; these have high demands, among other things, regarding ventilation and maintained operational reliability.
“We are proud to be involved and contribute to the healthcare operations and patients getting an improved indoor climate, reducing the risks of operational disruptions and unhealthy pollution. This will also lead to reduced energy use in the building, helping Region Stockholm to achieve its energy saving targets by 2030,” comments Michael Andersson, Head of Calculation and Tendering for Bravida Plus Division Stockholm.
Peter Fristedt, Project Manager at Locum, comments:
“We are very pleased to be working with Bravida on this project. Bravida is an experienced and competent supplier that can handle the complex project at Huddinge Hospital and ensure we achieve an improved indoor environment for the healthcare facilities.”
The project started in August 2023 and is expected to be completed in March 2025.
