Piping Prefabrication Supervisor - English

About the Role

As a Piping Supervisor, you will play an important role in establishing our new industrial pipe prefabrication workshop in Söderhamn.

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily pipe prefabrication activities while ensuring that production is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The role involves close collaboration with welders, pipefitters, warehouse personnel, quality teams, and production management to ensure that all work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

You will become a key member of the production organisation and have the opportunity to help build ways of working, culture, and structure from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating daily pipe prefabrication activities
  • Ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Monitoring production progress and ensuring production targets are achieved
  • Planning and coordinating activities together with the Production Manager
  • Ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Participating in production and planning meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and technical requirements
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and safe working environment
  • Identifying and resolving technical and operational challenges
  • Reporting production status, resource requirements, and deviations

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has

  • Experience as a Supervisor, Foreman, Team Leader, or similar role within an industrial environment
  • Experience in pipe fabrication, industrial piping, or welding-related production
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience leading and motivating teams
  • Strong understanding of quality, productivity, and health and safety requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluency in Swedish and/or English
  • A valid Category B driving licence

Experience from the process industry, energy projects, data centre projects, or other major industrial projects is considered an advantage.
