Production Manager - English

About the Role

As Production Manager, you will play a key role in the establishment of our new pipe prefabrication workshop in Söderhamn, Sweden.

You will be responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. The role involves close collaboration with the project organisation, procurement, warehouse, quality, and production teams to ensure that the right materials, resources, and documentation are in place when needed.

You will become a central part of the workshop management team and have the opportunity to influence how the operation is built and developed for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and leading the workshop’s prefabrication activities
  • Ensuring production is carried out in accordance with project plans and delivery targets
  • Managing production planning and resource allocation
  • Coordinating production, warehouse, logistics, quality, and project activities
  • Monitoring production performance, productivity, and delivery reliability
  • Ensuring work instructions and technical documentation are up to date and readily available
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Managing deviations, risks, and production challenges
  • Leading production meetings and coordinating activities across different functions
  • Reporting status, progress, and risks to project and operational management

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has

  • Experience in production management within industry, manufacturing, or prefabrication environments
  • Solid understanding of planning, resource management, and production workflows
  • Experience leading teams in an operational environment
  • The ability to create structure within complex operations
  • Strong communication skills and experience working across multiple functions
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • A valid Category B driving licence

Experience in pipe prefabrication, welding, the process industry, or large-scale industrial projects is considered an advantage.
