Project Manager at Bravida – Industrial Projects Across the Nordics

This position is part of one of Bravida’s Industrial departments, specialising in large, complex industrial projects. The department operates across Sweden and also delivers projects in other Nordic countries, primarily within pulp and paper, data centers, hydropower, energy and the broader process industry.

Do you want to lead projects that are critical to the future of industrial infrastructure? At Bravida, you will take on a central role in major and technically advanced industrial projects. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who wants to take full responsibility for project governance, financial performance and leadership – while also developing people, ways of working and long-term project excellence.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that our industrial projects are delivered according to schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements. You work close to the operations and collaborate daily with our site managers—both in tactical and operational matters. The role includes leading project meetings, financial reviews and progress checks, while serving as a strategic advisor in decision-making, prioritisation and risk management. This role will report to the department manager.

You will play a key role in creating structure, developing processes and ensuring that Bravida’s high standards are met throughout the entire project lifecycle. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine leadership, analysis and technical-commercial expertise.

  • Overall responsibility for the financial performance of projects
  • Prepare forecasts, cost follow-ups and invoicing
  • Monitor contribution margins and manage financial deviations
  • Ensure adherence to budget and initiate corrective actions

Contracts & Agreements

  • Review and manage contracts, construction/installation agreements and variations
  • Negotiate with clients and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with legal and commercial requirements

Leadership & Development

  • Provide clear and present leadership to site managers
  • Develop work methods, project models and individual competencies
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, proactivity and quality

Structure & Processes

  • Drive improvements in project models, documentation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with routines and internal guidelines
  • Establish and maintain structure and order in project workflows

Requirements

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in project management within technical, industrial or construction-related environments
  • Documented experience in financial control of projects
  • Experience in contract management; experience with AB/ABT is a merit
  • Leadership experience—formal or informal—with responsibility for site managers or technicians
  • Meritorious experience from pulp and paper, hydropower, process industry, data centers, large installations or industrial maintenance

Skills & Personal Qualities

  • Strong ability to create structure, drive projects forward and achieve results
  • Confident and clear leadership with natural authority
  • Commercially minded, analytical and proactive in risk management
  • Organized, quality-focused and comfortable with systematic work
  • Thrives in a role combining strategic responsibility and hands-on involvement
  • Takes ownership, makes decisions and delivers reliably
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English

Additional Merits

  • Experience from large technical or industrial installations
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industrial/construction law

Who succeeds in this role?

The person who thrives here is a confident and engaged leader who enjoys being close to the projects and the operations. You can see the big picture while also diving into critical details when needed—without losing momentum. Being humble, structured and clear in communication will help you succeed and feel at home in our culture.
