Workshop Manager - English
About the Role
As Workshop Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to help establish Bravida’s new pipe prefabrication workshop in Söderhamn, Sweden. You will be responsible for the overall operation of the workshop and lead the development of a safe, efficient, and high-performing organisation. The role involves close collaboration with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Project teams to ensure that the operation delivers against ambitious objectives. You will play a key role in this strategic investment and have the opportunity to influence everything from ways of working and operational processes to culture and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the daily operations of the workshop
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring a safe working environment
- Being accountable for operational performance in quality, delivery, and productivity
- Coordinating production, warehouse, logistics, and project activities
- Building and developing teams, leaders, and ways of working
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational development
- Monitoring business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensuring that resources and organisational capacity align with operational needs
- Serving as a key interface between the workshop and the project organisation
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
- Experience within industrial piping, welding, or the process industry
- Experience leading production, workshop, or manufacturing operations
- Proven people management experience
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality management, and health and safety requirements
- Experience in change management and business improvement initiatives
- The ability to create structure, engagement, and high-performing teams
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
